Advice To My 9yr Old Daughter About Videos...

This morning Chanler my daughter was asking me about making videos…

She has been making videos for an app called coverstar (it’s like a TikTok for kids).

I asked her how many videos she’s made so far?

She told me 17…

So I asked her what she knows about making videos just from listening to me talk to people…

She said to make a video a everyday.

So I asked her has she been doing that?

She said no.

I said well what’s stopping you from doing that.

She gave me a cute blank stare lol.

I said you need to keep practicing.

Then I proceeded to tell her to make 100 and then we can look at them to see what to improve.

She said ok.

This advice is literally the best advice I can give you to make videos.

You need to get the reps.

100 is enough to see patterns.

100 is enough to see mistakes.

100 is enough data to make decisions.

Most won’t do this though.

They will say things like…

I don’t know what to say.

I don’t have the right gear.

Life got in the way…

Etc…

This is a bullshit.

I have been making a video everyday for almost 10 years.

Hell my Instagram has over 2k of them.

This is the secret.

It’s not the most pretty advice.

But it’s 100 percent the best advice.

Want to stop asking what video do I make today?

Force yourself to make one.

Make it a goal.

Make it a commitment to yourself.

Because of you do Views will start to happen.

Followers will start to come.

And then shortly after that…

Money will follow.

If you struggle with this other than being the voice that says do it.

I can help you more at the attention summit.

I will show exactly how I do what I do for myself and many of the biggest creators in the internet.

The Attention Summit starts in roughly 14 days.

It’s a live event here in St Pete Florida.

It’s basically FREEE to attend.

Grab your spot here.

I hope to see you there.

Talk soon,

Ryan

P.S. I am off to Milwaukee Wisconsin today. I will be helping my friend Stacey film 100+ videos. This is what I do with everyone. It works

it infuriates me that 99% off the world thinks that making videos is the hard part. It's not. The hard is building a machine that makes them when.. You are burnt out. You are busy. You are working on something else. You are pissed off. You are happy. You are sad. Etc... You see content is a operations business disguised and a creative one. Businesses could care less about how you feel and need content no matter what. The sad truth is most will never make enough content to learn this. The...

One of the most annoying problems with content and making videos comes pretty quickly for those truly trying to build a Business With content. Now to be clear if you are solo person making 1-3 videos and posting them to one or 2 platforms this wont effect you. But if you are like myself and others and you are posting 3-6+ times a day across multiple platforms this is what will drive you insane. Its the Actual posting of the videos. Yup...i said it. POSTING. It pains me to say that truthfully...

I have been thinking a lot about this lately. You see for the last 10 years the content itself was the product. You needed a fancy camera. You needed to know how to edit. You needed to manually type out the subtitles :) Heck you used to have to drive to the Apple store and buy a box that said Final Cut Pro and it cost $600 bucks. Now before you get mad hear me out. This is what I call a higher barrier of entry. In most cases the h igher barrier of entry the better the reward for doing the...
