I don't think content is the product anymore

I have been thinking a lot about this lately.

You see for the last 10 years the content itself was the product.

You needed a fancy camera.

You needed to know how to edit.

You needed to manually type out the subtitles :)

Heck you used to have to drive to the Apple store and buy a box that said Final Cut Pro and it cost $600 bucks.

Now before you get mad hear me out.

This is what I call a higher barrier of entry.

In most cases the h igher barrier of entry the better the reward for doing the said thing.

But with current tech and with everyone having the tools to make content not only fast but reall good from their Iphones it only means one thing.

Content is the commodity

This doesn't mean content is dead.

It aint dead by any means. It Def alive and well.

Heck last week I got 19m on one video on Facebook and gained 35k followers.

But when everyone has access to the same tools and skills as you what is left?

My bet is the creators that flourish in next 1-2 years will have their systems and processes dialed.

Take 2 creators.

Creator #1 has amazing videos but can only publish 5 per week.

Then you have creator #2.

Creator #2 has amazing videos as well...

But he also took the time to setup systems for filming fast, editing fast, and then a way to distribute them fast.

Be honest with yourself...

Who is gonna win?

I will bank everything on creator #2.

Not because they are the best "Creator"

but because they have the best systems setup around their content.

They will be able to get data faster.

They will be able to improve from the data faster.

They will optimize things fast.

Who Wins?

My bet is on the systems.

Anything you can do today to help you publish and distrubute faster will have a direct positive correlation to the amount in your bank account.

These days the creator is not the bottleneck. Their operating system is.

Don't believe me yet?

Grab Speed To Post and post 3 times a day for 30 days.

You will grow.

You will get more leads.

You will start believing.

Talk Soon,

Ryan

it infuriates me that 99% off the world thinks that making videos is the hard part. It's not. The hard is building a machine that makes them when.. You are burnt out. You are busy. You are working on something else. You are pissed off. You are happy. You are sad. Etc... You see content is a operations business disguised and a creative one. Businesses could care less about how you feel and need content no matter what. The sad truth is most will never make enough content to learn this. The...

One of the most annoying problems with content and making videos comes pretty quickly for those truly trying to build a Business With content. Now to be clear if you are solo person making 1-3 videos and posting them to one or 2 platforms this wont effect you. But if you are like myself and others and you are posting 3-6+ times a day across multiple platforms this is what will drive you insane. Its the Actual posting of the videos. Yup...i said it. POSTING. It pains me to say that truthfully...

I feel like I wake up every morning and start over... The views from yesterday are gone. The sales from yesterday are gone. The motivation from yesterday is gone. And my personal favorite... My bank account feels like it's back at zero too. Now inherently I know this is all bullshit but I cant help but feel every day I start the marathon a mile behind. Truth be told I have felt this way for 10 years. So naturally knowing i feel like this is why I obsess so much about optimization of my...
