Yesterday I spoke on a panel at the clients and ascension event here in Tampa.

It was a great event.

For me though what made it great wasn’t the actual event itself…

It was one of the other speakers.

My friend Eddie Malouf was one of the other speakers and not only did I enjoy his talk but we spent about 20min talking in the hotel lobby.

In that 20 min he broke down my companies financials and showed me how I can save about 10k a month in profits.

This is why I love events.

• It’s not the speakers.
• It’s not the actual event

It’s the conversations you have In The hallways, the hotels bars, the dinners, and the clubs.

If I didn’t wake up early on sat morn drive myself 30 min to Tampa and hang out till about 4pm I wouldn’t have gotten this knowledge from Eddie who shared it freely.

(For context I have paid Eddie 3k for a phone call that made my company a few hundred grand)

This type of value is what I have facilitated my entire Event the Attention Summit to be all about.

As of now there are rough to 55 seat’s confirmed.

I have room for up to 200.

It’s hard to place an ROI on this.

But I’ve had so many of these conversations that it’s made me who I am today.

So many people have told me how stupid it is for me to do that.

They said your spending like 20k to put it on why give it away for basically free?

My answer.

I want to change the industry.

So I will gladly sacrifice short term revenue for long term brand.
